Beth Casey
Beth Casey, soprano section leader, is in her thirteenth year of
teaching choral music in Texas including ten years in Spring Branch and
the past three years as choral director at Angleton High School. Ms.
Casey received the Bachelor of Music Education and the Master of Music
in Conducting at Sam Houston State University with Dr. B.R. Henson. She
has served as adjudicator for numerous competitions and as clinician for
many summer workshops. Under Ms. Caseys direction, the AHS Chorale,
Mens Choir and Womens Choirs have received three consecutive
sweepstakes at U.I.L. competition - breaking a 23 year second division
streak! She has performed in many organizations, including the Concert
Chorale of Houston and the Houston Symphony Chorus. She has been a
soloist in these groups as well as in church choirs in the Houston/Lake
Jackson area. Her professional affiliations include TCDA, TMEA, ACDA,
and ADK.
