Robert G. Cruhm, bass section leader, has taught for 25 years, the last
five in Deer Park I.S.D. He is presently accompanist at Deer Park High
School and choir director at Deepwater Junior High School. Mr. Cruhm
has been a soloist, accompanist, and director of several regional choirs
throughout Texas. He has recorded the Texas All-State bass/baritone
voice tapes for the past 16 years and the Florida All-State tapes for
the past four years. He earned both his BA and master's degrees in
music education from TCU where he studied with Dr. B. R. Henson and Ron
Shirey. Mr. Cruhm has taught in the Brownsville ISD, Spring Branch ISD,
Katy ISD and in Northeast ISD in San Antonio. Mr. Cruhm is a member of
TCDA, TMEA, ACDA, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and Pi Kappa Lambda, honorary
music society.
