Most of my Proms tour pictures are now online (100 more to do eventually) at http://www.choral.org/grou/hsc/memb/gen . There are a lot (400 or so) and many of them are rather from my point of view (as would be anyone's personal pictures) so you may need to skip over the pictures that are not relevant. But, there are a lot that you may not have caught yourselves so feel free to copy them, cut them up (digitally), or otherwise do with them what you would like on your own computer (maybe Charles would look better with a mustache?).
If anyone wants to send me quotes to attach to each
picture (no full names please, this is the internet),
go ahead and mail me the results (as an example, use:
005: I will NOT be carrying all YOUR medication needs this time
).

Thank you to all those that posed for the pictures (with or without permission). Some are probably poses that might be considered better missed than caught, but they are the capture of a moment of time that I will remember fondly. And, there is always Mexico City for another chance to get a better pose...

For those that I missed off the distribution list, this is due to using the latest chorus list that I have (Sep 99) so if you notice anyone missing or an incorrect email
address and have their new address, please send a
copy to them.

For those that are interested in video and/or recordings, here is the present status after a week or so at home.

The video footage is there and is OK. The church recording is the best but of course is obscured by the audience. The orchestra version is more disjoint, but has a better view. The proms is rehearsal only. In total, there are
probably a reasonable hour or more of video that could be pieced together - not exactly a tour video, but at least it could be a record of the performance - I would not want to watch it often, but if one is desperate for something, it would be that. I do not have enough other video to make it worth building a tour video as I did in 1994.

Due to my mistake (I believe), there is no audio recording of the proms. Charles has an audio cassette which I am
going to try to review but that is unlikely to be of a
quality that could be put on a CD. I have many parts of the two Bernstein/Orff concerts - enough to put on a CD
but the finale will have to be taken from the video
sound track due to battery and tape management problems. The recording is a bit harsh, but again, for a record of the event, something will be possible.

Anyway, I am off on another vacation in an hour or so,
so I will see you all at the rehearsal on the 8th.
