2003 Endowment Campaign

Our official campaign concludes this year on May 6. All who contribute before this point will be acknowledged in an insert into the Beethoven program. Donation envelopes are available on the outside table. You can mail these envelopes, or give them to Susan Scarrow, David Nussmann or Jonathan Vaughan.

NEW MEMBER AUDITIONS JUNE 2d: Recruit Your Singing Friends!! Auditions can be scheduled by calling the Chorus Line or e-mailing the Chorus.

Chorus Council Candidates Sought

Next week we will hold our annual elections for two at large Council members (one male, one female). If you would be interested in serving the Chorus in this way, speak to Jonathan Vaughan or Susan Scarrow THIS WEEK so we can get your name on the ballot.

Beethoven Ticket Selling Competition Continues Remember, first prize in this Symphony-wide competition is a pair of tickets on Continental airlines. Only full-price tickets will count in terms of the competition. Pick up forms on the table, and show your support for the symphony by helping to make these concert a sold-out event!

Re-auditions In order to get us on an every-other-year schedule, half the chorus needs to audition this year. Check the lists in the hall to see whether you are on an '03 or '04 schedule. If you need to re-audition, sign up to do this on May 2 or 3. Why you are re-auditioning will determine what music you need to prepare.

--Messiah auditioners: Messiah cuts (available on table)

--Section changers: bring a prepared song and music for an accompanist

--All others: Beethoven 9 Measures 655 - 762

Years of Service Please check the years of service list, also posted in the hallway. According to Chorus policy, singers are considered to have performed a semester's worth of service for each semester in which they miss no more than 20% of the rehearsals and concerts for which they are scheduled. We will be awarding years of service pins before the piano rehearsal on May 6.
