Ticket Sign Up for Britten Tonight and Next Week
As usual, if you would like to buy tickets alongside your comp ticket, don't sign up for a comp ticket here. Instead, call the box office at its normal number: 713-224-7575.
Britten ITS sign up starts tonight:
if you are a provisional member, and/or if you've missed 3 or more Britten rehearsals, you will need to sing an ITS. Please sign up for these! Because there are so many of these to be heard, these are scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 9, 4-6 p.m.
Last Night to get a Flu Shot
Chorus member Dr. Barbara Bush is giving flu shots one last time tonight for all you procrastinators! The cost is $15 (cash, or check made payable to Barbara Bush). Thanks, Barbara!
Christmas CDs for Sale NEXT WEEK
All Chorus members may purchase CDs for $10 apiece (cash or check only) at our rehearsals on Nov. 4 and Dec. 2, before the rehearsal and at the break. PLEASE COME EARLY AND PURCHASE BEFORE THE REHEARSAL IF POSSIBLE! Next week's rehearsal includes the Fort Bend Boy Choir, and we really need to start this rehearsal on time! (Your friends and family can buy the CD for $17.95 at Amazon.com, Cactus Records on Shepherd, and the Barnes & Noble at Westheimer and Voss.)
Chorus ties available for purchase Tonight! Ties cost $25 apiece. See Patsy Wilson, our wardrobe manager. Men wear the ties with dark suits for most of our Sunday afternoon concerts. You will need a Chorus tie for the Britten War Requiem performances. Also, women: please be sure to get in touch with Patsy if you need to borrow a dress for the Britten and haven't yet made arrangements about this.
LOVE, DEATH, & DRINKING WITH THE SYMPHONY CHORUS!
Keep promoting those "Choral 4 Pack" subscription series! More flyers are available on the Chorus table if needed.
