Spring Auditions Coming May 15: please tell your talented friends!  Many of our best new members are friends of current Chorus members who just need a little nudge to persuade them that it’s worth the trauma of auditioning.  Those wishing to schedule an appointment should contact the chorus manager by phone or e-mail.

Chorus Endowment Drive Continues . . . through the Mozart piano rehearsal.  Traditionally many people wait until the last rehearsal to give (I guess we all like deadlines), but it’s never too early to contribute!!  There is information about the campaign, and envelopes for those who need them, on the chorus table.  Thanks to those who have already given!!

Re-audition sign up continues tonight!!  Lists are posted in the hallway: for those of you who haven’t yet scheduled this, don’t be
shy!!

Remember, you will need to schedule an appointment if you are asking to change voice parts (even if you re-auditioned last year.)  Those singing the Mozart Requiem will be asked to sing excerpts from this.  Others may re-audition with a SHORT piece of their own choice; please bring music for the accompanist.  Re-auditions will be held in room 154 (Charles’ studio).

Most of the Chorus has now registered for next season.   Thank you: it’s a huge help!!!!  Only 15 people have either not completed the form, or else had technical difficulties and the form was not recorded (I’m giving everyone the benefit of the doubt!).  I will be contacting individuals this week about this.  If you know that you are a hold out, could you save me the trouble and register ASAP? http://scarrow.polsci.uh.edu
