In hopes/expectations that these concerts will sell out, chorus members will NOT receive a comp ticket for this concert.  (It’s not just the Chorus not getting comps: I’ve been told that no one in the Symphony will receive comps for this concert).  However, those singing this concert WILL be able to purchase tickets at a 20% discount.  Tickets can be purchased by calling the box office at 713-224-7575

**The music for Lord of the Rings is rented.  Please DO NOT USE HIGHLIGHTER: mark only in pencil, and don’t make “excessive” marks (to quote Tony). **

Please be sure to pick up a list of divisi for this piece!!

Coming June 22: Chorus Council elections to replace two “at large” members, Suzanne Mitchell and Roger Cutler, who are rotating off the council after 2 years of dedicated service (thanks to you both!!).  We will elect one male and female council member to replace them.  Nominations will be accepted June 8 and 15: self-nominations are very welcome!!  (Speak with Council president John MacDonald about this, or to any section leader.)

Did you receive the HSC Chronicles e-mail this past Sunday (May 30)?   If  not, you may need to give Susan your new e-mail address, or your spam-guard may be blocking group messages sent from Susan’s e-mail address(es).  Please send her an e-mail, and she will try to reply to see if this is the problem (and so that you can add her outgoing mail address to your list of “accepted” addresses).
