Mahler rehearsals Tuesdays in Oct. 7 pm
Christmas Rehearsals start Oct. 26, second half of rehearsal…see the Chorus Handbook for details
Dues are due!!
It’s time to pay the $10 annual Chorus dues. Dues payments help out with such expenses as nametags and other office supplies for the chorus, refreshments for special events, and years of service pins. New members should also pay their one time music deposit ($15). If paying by check, make check payable to the Houston Symphony Chorus. Checks should be given to your section leader, or if s/he is absent, you may give them directly to treasurer Lynne Moneypenny (making sure to also give her your name, so she can keep track of who has paid!).

Want Symphony Tickets
for Just $13!!?
Go to the KRTK channel 13 website and find out about this special promotion, good for both pops and classical concerts through November 21: http://abclocal.go.com/krtk/features/2004_symphony.html
(if this is too much to type, find the KRTK web site and search for “Gupton”, as in conductor Damon Gupton – this is the link that comes up).
This is a great deal, and it includes our Mahler concert. So bring friends and family to this and other concerts and help to fill Jones Hall! (See the web page for details: there are a limited number of seats at this price.)
Needed: a few volunteers to help with chair set-up and clean-up.
Setting up for our large chorus is a lot of work, and it will become more work when we split into double rehearsals for Christmas. Tony Sessions could use some help with this. Needed are a couple of people who could arrive at 6:15 to help round up the necessary chairs, and a couple people who could stay after rehearsals to help return the chairs we have borrowed. If you could help with this, please see Tony for details. Thanks!!
