Dues are due!!
It’s
time to pay the $10 annual Chorus dues.
Dues payments help out with such expenses as nametags and other office
supplies for the chorus, refreshments for special events, and years of service
pins. New members should also
pay their one time music deposit ($15).
If paying by check, make check payable to the Houston Symphony
Chorus. Checks should be given to
your section leader, or if s/he is absent, you may give them directly to
treasurer Lynne Moneypenny (making sure to also give her your name, so she can
keep track of who has paid!).
“Choral 4
Pack”
Subscription series brochure available on
diskette to e-mail to friends, or to print extra copies. See Larry Hitt for
details.
Women’s Symphomaniac T-shirts for sale tonight! If you ordered a fitted T-shirt, please
purchase these tonight at the break for $11 (cash, or check to Houston
Symphony). If you did not pre-order
but would like to purchase one of these shirts, you can sign up on a waiting
list in case there are any extras.
Needed: a few volunteers to help with chair set-up and
clean-up.
Setting up for our large chorus is a lot of work, and it will
become more work when we split into double rehearsals for Christmas. Tony Sessions could use some help with
this. Needed are a couple of people
who could arrive at 6:15 to help round up the necessary chairs, and a couple
people who could stay after rehearsals to help return the chairs we have
borrowed. If you could help with
this, please see Tony or Susan for details. Thanks!!
There
will be a short Chorus Council Meeting Next Week after rehearsal, in the
rehearsal room.
