JONES HALL SECURITY NOTICE

Because of a change in procedure, everyone who signs in at the security desk at Jones Hall will be asked to show a PICTURE ID.  Please remember to bring this and have it out to speed up the process  Also, remember to sign in back stage at our orchestra rehearsals (we don’t get the security lists!)

Nevksy comp ticket sign up ends tonight!!  Please sign up in the hallway for your ticket (and if you aren’t going to use yours, why not ask around to see if someone else would like it?)  To buy discount tickets alongside your comp. ticket, call the Jones Hall box office directly: 713-224-7575.

Mexico City Registration Continues: Please Pick Up a Brochure if you missed this last week.  Additional facts:

1) Continental Frequent flyer miles will be given for the Chorus flights.  Please include your frequent flyer number on the registration form.

2) The return flight from Mexico City will depart at 12:20 on Monday, August 29, and arrive at 2:40 pm. 

Re-Audition Sign Up Continues TONIGHT!!!

A list of singers and audition years is posted in the hallway.  Please sign up for an appointment if you are listed as a “5” (as in, 2005).  Those who aren’t singing the CD may re-audition on a short piece of their own choosing (note the change).  For those who are singing the CD, stay tune for an announcement about the cuts.  (Cuts will also be announced for those who want to audition to be considered for The Messiah.

Nevksy ITS:  Be sure to keep your ITS appointment tonight if you have missed two or more rehearsals for Alexander Nevksy.

YEARS OF SERVICE

Years of service pins will be awarded at our end-of-year ceremony on May 17.  Years of service credit has been calculated for this season, and the results are posted in the hallway.  PLEASE CHECK THESE LISTS!! 

Chorus Endowment Campaign Continues Tonight

Donation envelopes and more brochures are available on the Chorus table.   Thanks to everyone for the good kick-off!  Donations received through NEXT TUESDAY will be acknowledged in the program insert for Nevksy and will qualify for the members’ match.

Chorus ties for sale tonight from Wardrobe manager Patsy Wilson (Alto 1).  Ties cost $25 each (cash or check to HSC).  Men wear the ties on Sunday afternoon concerts along with a dark suit.

PARKING VOUCHERS ON SALE TONIGHT AND NEXT WEEK!!  Please see our friendly volunteer vendors in the hallway.  Vouchers cost $3 each, and can be used through 2005.  Remember, parking meters run on Saturday mornings now, too, so for the Nevsky rehearsals and concerts there will be 5 “parking occasions”.  Exact change is appreciated.
