It's time to collect the annual dues-still a real bargain at $10. Dues help to defray the costs of social events, pay for years of service pins, awards, pencils, and other office supplies for the chorus. Please give your dues to your section leader (and introduce yourself if you are new, or if your section leader is new!).

New members are asked to pay a one-time music deposit of $15. This is refundable when you leave the chorus if you do not have outstanding borrowed music. You can give this to your section leader as well.

Yes, this is still in the works, but got blown off course by the hurricane. As in the past two years, the Symphony will be offering a mini-subscription packet for choral enthusiasts. These packages will definitely save money for your friends and family, and will also serve as a fund-raiser for the Chorus. Details and brochures available next week (I hope!!)

If you've joined the Chorus in the past few months, join us after tonight's rehearsal for a new member orientation. Get to know the section leaders and each other, find out about important things like downtown parking, and bring your questions. We'll do our best to answer them!

A final set of re-auditions will be held after our (shortened) rehearsal tonight. Please plan on doing this if you were ill or out of town when re-auditions were held in the spring and last week, or if you have recently rejoined the chorus after being on leave for a year or more!! Remember, everyone needs to audition regularly to maintain Chorus membership. A list is posted in the hall. If you think your name should be on this list and it isn't, please check with Susan.
