**Please note that there probably will be a photoshoot of the chorus after the Sunday concert, so please plan to stay for at least an hour after the concert ends. These photos will be used for publicity about our 60th Anniversary Celebrations!

It's time to update our look! We are introducing simple updates to our look for our anniversary season. Men will add a silver pocket square to their tuxes, Women will add a silver scarf (instead of collars and cuffs). New costumes will be modeled this evening. The cost of each accessory is a bargain $5, thanks to the hard work of Patsy Wilson, Jennifer Young and some other volunteers. See below for payment directions:

It's time to pay annual Chorus dues. These funds help with costs such as the chorus computer, occasional entertainment costs, years of service pins, etc. Dues are normally $10/year, BUT-- THIS YEAR WE ARE COMBINING DUES PAYMENTS WITH PAYMENTS FOR OUR NEW COSTUME ACCESSORIES!! Please pay $15 for dues and scarves/pocket squares. Checks can be made out to Houston Symphony Chorus and given to your section leader.

Next Tuesday, Sept 5 6-7 pm. If you are a provisional member or if you have or will have missed 3 rehearsals or more, you must sing an ITS before this concert. The ITS will be done in quartets singing Beethoven. Please sign up tonight so that Susan doesn't have to track you down by e-mail!!

The comp ticket policy for this concert is the same as usual (1 ticket per singer per concert series). Please sign up tonight if you want a single comp ticket. The Thursday concert is the best night for ticket availability!! Ticket sign up will continue next week, but cannot guarantee weekend seat availability after tonight. You may purchase tickets at a 20% discount (with your comp ticket if wanted) by calling the Symphony box offce: 713-224-7575.
