BEETHOVEN TICKET SIGN-UP
BEGINS NEXT WEEK

Discount and comp ticket sign up for the Beethoven concerts will take place Feb. 27 through March 13. You will be able to sign up for one complimentary ticket and buy discount tickets for the Sunday and Monday concerts.
(Prokofiev ticket sign up will take place April 10 - 17)

COOKIE COORDINATOR NEEDED

(Well, snack coordinator needed, actually, but cookie coordinator sounded better.) David Fox and Bill Goddard are our wonderful coffee and juice organizers, and they have been handling cookies, pretzels, and the like for quite some time. They plan to continue with the liquid refreshment, but would like some help with snacks. If you (and a friend?) would be interested in organizing snacks each week, please see Cheryl or David or Bill tonight! Thank you!

CALL FOR SINGERS

Charles is looking for some additional singers for this year's Moores School of Music Gala concert. In past seasons, HSC has been a part of this annual event which has included performances of the Requiems of Verdi, Berlioz, and Brahms.

The work The Mystic Flame by Michael Horvit is a composition that traces the history of the Jewish people. It is not a difficult work and can be prepared with limited rehearsal time. The performances are on March 3 (7:00 pm) and March 4 (3:00 pm). Rehearsals are on the evenings of February 28 (piano rehearsal), March 1, March 2, and the morning of March 3 (orchestra rehearsals). In addition, there will be a commercial recording made of this work on the evening of March 4. Franz Krager will conduct.

LADIES’ DRESS MEETING

Anyone interested in helping with our chorus costumes is encouraged to meet before rehearsal, Tuesday, February 27, at 6:30 p.m. We are NOT discussing changes in the costumes, but the end of the contract with our dressmaker. Your input would be greatly appreciated.
