OPENING NIGHT OFFER!

Symphony administration is making an offer to chorus
members for this Saturday’s Opening Night concert
(Sept. 14, 7:30 p.m.) Hans Graf will conduct the
Houston Symphony and Sergei Nakariakov, Trumpet, in
Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet, Haydn’s Trumpet
Concerto, Tchaikovsky’s Andante Cantabile, and
Prokofiev’s Suite from Romeo and Juliet. Chorus
members may purchase a ticket, ranging from $35 to
$75 (limited availability in certain sections) and
receive a second ticket free. Call Cheryl if you
have questions.

excerpts of Vaughan Williams’ “Dona Nobis Pacem,” and
American folk material. Rehearsals begin next Tues.,

MISSA SOLEMNIS BROADCAST

Last May’s performance of Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis
is scheduled for broadcast tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept.
11, at 9:30 p.m., on 88.7 KUHF.

Bruckner Te Deum scores
are available for purchase for $10.
