THE METROPOLITAN CONSORT OF HOUSTON was incorporated as a non-profit organization in March of 1995 as The Fort Bend Chorale. Due to overwhelming response in Houston, the group has reestablished itself in Houston proper. The mission of the group is to bring quality performances to Houston audiences and to be an outlet for singers and players to participate in a professional-level performing organization.
